Black Horse: 4493c01pb02

November 6, 2024.

This black horse harkens to the shape of the original LEGO Horses: Formed simply with an emphasis on a strong, blocky, 2D-looking shape. This horse differs a bit from the very first primordial LEGO horses-- it has a neck joint, so its head can move. The first LEGO horses were formed out of a solid, inflexible chunk of plastic, so this horse demonstrates some evolution from its ancestors.

The horse has some sculpted details in its mane and tail, which show flowing strands of hair. The horse's face is printed simply, with a brown bridle over its face and muzzle. The horse's eyes are represented by a white circle around a black dot. So very charming. Its expression makes the horse appear bewildered.

This horse has a narrow cutout in which a rider or saddle (which can also hold a rider) can be placed. My secondhand horse has a few scratches markings his black plastic surface, but that doesn't make the horse any less precious.
