Another pony-in-box! This time, before you lieth Pony Frenzy, a set with a big pony and baby pony, as well as baby pony accessories.
These ponies were distributed by Hunsun Trading and produced by OKK Trading, both Chinese companies specializing in toys and hobby goods.
Pony Frenzy is staged cutely with a cardboard backdrop behind a crib, wagon, various baby toys (including a curling iron?), two brushes, and the ponies.
The second comb's inclusion, I speculate, may have been unintentional, as it is rattling around freely behind the plastic packaging.
The pink pony is large with glass eyes that are exaggerated by bright blue eyeshadow, and nicely painted pink hooves.
It's made with a mold I've never seen before, a bit taller than the average fakie. I think she's pretty.
Rarely do you ever see a pony with a word written in its cutie mark!
The baby pony is blue and resembles a Tara baby, or even more closely, Lanard baby ponies. This baby, however, lacks any branding.
Both fakies are made from smooth, subtly shimmering plastic.
The baby looks cute in its crib, and the big heart on the crib's side is, apparently, a button. Flipping it over, I saw that the bottom of the crib was fastened together by screws!
It seemed odd to me that a crib would need a battery! Does it light up? Maybe it plays a lullaby for the pony. What tacky gimmick could this crib have?
Nothing, it turns out!
There wasn't even any metal in the battery port. The tiny screw you see only serves to add resistance when pushing the button, but it is placed so precariously that the button is easily pushed out of place.
Strange.
